Ron Lewis & 1E are a hip-hop duo out of Dallas, TX (USA), consisting of wordsmith Ron Lewis and his partner-in-rhyme, 1E. This mixtape is the 2nd installment of Ron Lewis' Elevata Music mixtape series, featuring production by Solo Otto, Ba6ic, IzzacMadeThisOne, & Nimbus3000.
"EM2" is a powerful project with groundbreaking production and raw emotional lyricism. While interlaced with the occasional club banger to keep the party jumping, this record is much deeper than it appears on the surface. Ron Lewis & 1E do a great job of balancing the vibe of this album, delivering a project that is equally fun as it is somber. While the party tracks are cool, it's the deep cuts on this record that really shine. Standout tracks include We Are Here, No More, & Quiet Storm Outro. This record proves that hip-hop is still alive and well in the Texas underground scene, I look forward to hearing more from these guys in the very near future.
